Hip-Hop's Flyest By Zach Fleer-"Thank Me Later"....Thank Him Now, Drake goes platinum

Less than three months removed from the release of "Thank Me Later", hip hop conglomerate Drake has gone platinum. Debuting on June 15, Drake's first studio album has received much critical acclaim from across the country and featured such names as Lil Wayne, Kayne West, Birdman, Swizz Beats, and Timbaland. The first single released from the album was "Over" which rocked the hip hop world, then followed by "Find Your Love," which showcased Drake's softer side and most importantly his ability to sing, something that's hard pressed to find with most hip hop artists nowadays. Drake would follow up with "Miss Me" which coincided his rapping abilities with his singing talent once again making another hit for every hip hop fan to enjoy. According to MTV, Drake's debut album was ranked #5 among the "Top Five Most Anticipated Rap Debuts," just another accolade for the transcendent artist to add to his highlight reel.
